Ziv began his musical path no earlier than the age of four, when he started to play the violin. Four years later, at the age of eight, he replaced the violin for the guitar due to the great influence of the guitarist Richie Blackmore.

After he bought his first guitar, Ziv managed to modify his work on the violin and took guitar lessons. To get more experience and technique he played with bands.

Even as a soldier in the IDF, Ziv didn`t abandon his music and played with several bands. After finishing the army, Ziv began studying Biology for a year in the Hebrew university in Jerusalem. Due to his acceptance to Berklee Collage of Music in Boston, Ziv left his biology studies, but things didn`t work out as planned and instead decided to move to the north of the country in order to study Bio-technology. During his studies he played with "Diplopia", the favorite band in his collage and produced other young bands.

As he graduated, he moved back to the center, studying for few months in the Music Academy of Tel-Aviv University. He joined to "The Grip" with Itamar Israeli and Shir Deutch, an alternative rock band that had showed all over the country.

After "The Grip" were broke up, he started to play in "CoverBlend" ,a 70-80 cover band.

During that time, he had fought in the Second Lebanon War. Event that influenced on his music.

On summer 2008, he moved to South Africa and recorded there the "South Acoustic Project".

These days, back in Israel, Ziv is working as a QA Manager , teaching music and working on his solo project.

On April 2009 he joined to Jubilee Line with his old time friend.
